grumble grumble...

So I didn't realize when we added the Google calendar (okay, when I added the Google calendar) that it would require anyone who wants to view it to sign in with Google. We are TRYING to make it completely public and transparent - I don't want people to have to be 'members' to see what is happening at the end of the block.

Please be patient in the meantime, and let me know if you have other calendar solutions! Thanks!

Never mind - all is fixed now...

A Calendar for Enright Park!

We will be trying to host an interactive calendar for the Garden and Park this year. It may be a bit of trial and error, but stay tuned as we update and keep track of different events. Things to look for are:
  • Community Garden Activities - including clean-ups, plantings, lessons, and simply spending time with your neighbors
  • Recommended planting times - did you know that you should be putting your peas in NOW, and that carrots, lettuce, spinach, chard, and kale can all be planted too? We'll let you know when the best time to get the tomatoes in is too!
  • Volunteer opportunities and projects. Do you want to help us make garden signage? How about mulching beds in the heat of the summer? Do you have some spare time to help water seedlings?
  • Classes from Whole Foods, including culinary and gardening classes!

We look forward to seeing you in the garden!

set-up and testing

This is the blog for Enright Park, a neighborhood park and community garden located in Pittsburgh's East Liberty neighborhood.

This blog will serve as a place for neighborhood communications, discussing plans for the community garden, and general neighborhood interest items.
